He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Madrid (UCM) and the University of Essex (UK). He has been a senior lecturer in Economics at the University of Madrid (UCM), Director of FEDEA, and Managing Partner of Applied Economics at Analistas Financieros Internacionales (AFI). He is also a founding partner of LoRIS ( Longevity & Retirement Income Solutions ). In 2018/2019, he coordinated the SSPA Network study advocating differentiated taxation for the repopulation of depopulated territories ( see below ). He is the author of numerous academic articles on applied economics and academic and professional monographs. He is a publicist in the media and social networks. He is active (consulting and entrepreneurship) in the fight against depopulation and for repopulation.

Managing partner of Qíndice, a socioeconomic research and data analysis company, where he has led numerous projects (a small portion of which were in rural areas) and where he has applied his mathematical training to methodological innovations and improvements in both measurement (of behavior and perceptions) and data processing and analysis (fuzzy logic segmentation, risk quantification based on mathematical information theory, mathematical modeling for analytical and predictive purposes, logarithmic spiral optimized sampling, and sequential optimized sampling). He is also a partner at SIR. He is currently a professor of the Master's Degree in Big Data and Data Science Applied to Economics and Business Management at the Faculty of Economics of the UNED.

An architect from the Seville School of Architecture, she holds a Master's degree in Social Habitat Management. Between 2007 and 2012, she worked for Surco Arquitectura SLP, participating in the rehabilitation and regeneration processes of the Polígono Sur neighborhood within the framework of the Comprehensive Plan. This included both the development of rehabilitation projects and the implementation, design, and management of neighborhood participation for the Urban Plan. Since 2016, her entire professional activity has focused on rural areas under the brand CUATRO TAPIAS. Since 2017, she has also collaborated with the MUTI Association, an evolutionary space, carrying out consulting, design, and project management work related to habitat, eco-social transition, and participation in rural areas. Since 2019, she has been part of the G100 housing group, a group of 100 people from all over Spain who participate in Terris (Territories and Social Innovation) in the process of co-creating a New Rurality.

Social consultant with over 10 years of experience in social research, social planning, disability, and gender perspectives in different countries. She specializes in the social inclusion of people with disabilities in national projects focused on job creation for people with disabilities. She has also trained non-governmental development cooperation organizations in the use of the Logical Framework approach, among other roles. Throughout my career, multidisciplinary work, a comprehensive view of reality and its context of intervention, ongoing training, and knowledge management have been key factors.
